Hot or Slop is an open-science experiment in Turing-testing visual generation models: a fully transparent React/Vite + Node/Express stack that streams Hugging Face datasets straight to the browser, challenges the crowd to call real vs synthetic frames in real time, and logs every guess, streak, latency, and model attribution into a shared sql.js ledger so researchers can probe where human perception still triumphs and where the machines are already slipping past us.
