Chrome extension that reads YouTube’s “Most replayed” heat-map to auto-adjust playback speed, slowing down crowd‑favorite moments and speeding past the rest.

KineWatch plugs into Manifest V3, injects a lightweight content script on youtube.com/ watch, and samples the SVG heat-map that powers YouTube’s “Most replayed” insights. It tracks the raw Bézier curve data across chapters, normalizes the Y range, and continuously modulates video.playbackRate between a user-defined min/max band. The pop-up ships with monochrome presets, smoothing and refresh sliders, and an on-video HUD branded with “KineWatch” so viewers always know the live speed even in full screen. Settings sync via Chrome storage, the refresh cadence is tunable (250–4000 ms), and a packaging script emits a Web Store–ready ZIP, making it equal parts polished UX and shippable product.
